This is the first time that the 2 stars will work in one movie project together. According to a report, Sotto and Alonzo were formally introduced to each other only during the story conference.
Sotto said he is excited to work under Star Cinema again. He said he did not think twice when the ABS-CBN movie arm offered him the project.
“Star Cinema offered a very nice project, hindi ako nahirapang magdesisyon. I really like the project. Co-producing the film is Direk Tony [Reyes], parang asawa ko yan. Kasama ko kahit saan,” he said.
Alonzo, on the other hand, said it is a dream come true for her to finally work with the veteran actor, who will reportedly play a fake doctor in the film.
“Unang sabi pa lang sa akin, tinanggap ko agad. Such an honor na makatrabaho siya. Sabi ko nga puwede ko ng last film ito. I know it's going to be exciting, madami kaming babaunin,” she said.
Child stars Zaijan Jaranilla and Xyriel Manabatwill join them in the still untitled movie
