This is short review of the MMFF official movie entry, Desperadas 2 for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2008 awards. Desperadas 2 is actually a sequel to the first movie, Desperadas and stars the same set of character from Ruffa Mae Quinto, Ruffa Gutierrez, Marian Rivera and Iza Calzado. This is a Regal Entertainment feature and directed by the critically acclaimed Joel Lamangan.
There is really very little for me to say about Desperadas but what I can tell you is that this is not just your ordinary movie of four distinct attitude of each of the girls having only one mother but with different fathers each. They get along together and go along with each other and I bet you would want to watch this movie also because of the unique set-up of the theme. This is rare in its likeness that Filipinos have come to grow up with the kind of culture as a woman and as a person. Unique setting of the story and character is the right word for me on this film, Desperadas 2.
Bagay na bagay kay Marian ang ganap niya sa Movie na ito. Napakanatural... Dapat nga dinagdagan pa ng pagkaplastic at pagiging palengkera ang ganap niya para tunay na tunay. Pero mas maganda rin na nawala na siya sa movie na ito. Hindi naman siya kawalan kasi ang nagdala ng movie ay sina Iza, Ogie, Ruffa Mae at Ruffa...
sorry, but it's sooooo damn corny!it's a total rip off from desperate housewives and sex and the city!NO originality here!
