ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc (Star Cinema), the country’s leading film company, is opening its doors to incoming senior college students this summer through its Movie Concept Development Workshop.

Workshop participants will be trained on the basics of concept scouting and research & story writing and development. In addition, students will get an opportunity to work with Star Cinema writers, directors, producers, and creative managers on various film projects.


Interested applicants will have to do the following:

* Email to SCCDU@abs-cbn.com: 1) an up-to-date resume with photo, (2) an original 2-page film storyline, and (3) a 2-page essay on the topic “My Favorite Movie”.
* Submit via airmail or personal hand-carry a certified true copy of the latest Transcript of Records to the Human Resources Department of Star Cinema.

Deadline for submission of requirements is on February 25, 2011 (Friday).

Only 35 applicants will qualify for an interview, and only the top 20 students will make it to the final roster of workshop applicants.
