You Changed My Life became the first movie of the year to receive the highest grade of “A” from Cinema Evaluation Board.
The romantic comedy movie starring Sarah Geronimo and John Lloyd Cruz is the sequel to the no. 1 Pinoy film of 2008, A Very Special Love, which also received a grade of “A” from CEB last year.
Star Cinema and Viva Films are entitled to a 100% tax exemption from the Government as incentive for producing the “A” graded film.
Also starring in You Changed My Life are Rayver Cruz, Dante Rivero, Rowell Santiago, Joross Gamboa, Matet de Leon, Gio Alvarez, Bernard Palanca, Beverly Salviejo and Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski.
Last night, the premiere of You Changed My Life was successfully held at SM Megamall cinemas 9 and 10. Thousands of Sarah and John Lloyd fans flocked the ground floor to the third floor of the mall to see their idols walk through the escalators to the cinema.
Sarah Geronimo demonstrated the “power hug” with John Lloyd Cruz as a request by Phoemela Barranda who is covering the said event. Also present in the premiere night are Rayver Cruz, director Cathy Garcia-Molina and the rest of the cast.
The grand opening of You Changed My Life is today in more than 100 theaters nationwide.

i watched kahapon sa sm molino kasi eto yung malapit sa bahay namin and late na kami matapos ng ibang personal commitments and errands eh since siya ang malapit and i really want to see the movie na, go kami ng sis ko habol kahit 2nd to the last screening! di gaanong mahaba ang pila pero at least, may pila kasi yung ibang kasabay nyang movie eh walang pila. tapos, eto pa, may mga kasabay kami sa pila na may mga kasamang senior citizens as in tagal maprocess ng ticket payments kasi they still have to check the senior citizens card nila lolo at lola..tapos may mga bata din with ages siguro ranging from 4-6 years old tapos mga teeners pa.. na-captured na talaga nila ang followers in different age brackets and with the preceding stories/reports about other cinemas' audiences eh even different social class....
and masaya sa loob kasi madidinig mo sabay-sabay tumatawa, and the men who usually are silent audience, naririnigan mo din ng comments, yung mga bata lakad-lakad at kanta kanta (meron pa ng i'm in lava chocolava!), basta super-saya! gusto ko pang panoorin ulit!
