TV host actress Toni Gonzaga was not able to contain her emotions during the thanksgiving party of her hit movie “My Amnesia Girl.”
Gonzaga burst into tears when the director of the movie, Cathy Garcia-Molina, cried because of the unexpected support their movie is receiving. Molina expressed her gratitude to all the cast saying they have given her more than just acting.
“To my actors who have given me more than just an acting in the film, you became my friends. You became my strength,” Molina said.
A tearful Gonzaga said she is very grateful to have worked with everyone especially her leading man, John Lloyd Cruz. “Thank you for making me feel that I deserve to work with John Lloyd. Akala ko marami pa akong kakaining bigas bago makatrabaho ka,” she said.
Gonzaga said she has long been praying for a new leading man and God gave her Cruz.
“Sabi ko, Lord, sana bigyan mo ako ng bagong leading man, binigay sa akin si John Lloyd Cruz! I’m grateful he said yes, when he could have said no...kasi busy ka at may iba kang gustong gawin, but you said yes to me and this project,” she said.
On the other hand, Cruz was elated with Gonzaga's flattering words.
The whole cast of the movie was present at the thanksgiving party. Also there to grace the event were ABS-CBN President Charo Santos-Concio and Star Cinema Managing Director Malou Santos.
