Inamin ng direktor na si Cathy Garcia-Molina na hindi siya agad naging sigurado na malakas ang chemistry nina John Lloyd Cruz at Toni Gonzaga para makagawa ng isang pelikula. Ngunit nang makatrabaho na niya ang dalawa sa My Amnesia Girl, ang pinakabagong pelikula mula sa Star Cinema, masasabi ni Direk Cathy na may pag-asa ang bagong tandem na ito.

Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at iba pang miyembro ng entertainment press ang direktor sa shooting ng My Amnesia Girl noong Huwebes, October 4, sa isang hotel sa Quezon City.

Kuwento ni Direk Kathy, "When I was first telling this to people, ang reaction, 'Ha? Meron ba Direk? Meron ba [chemistry] yung dalawa?' Sabi ko, 'I really don't know. I wouldn't know until makasama ko sila.

"And siyempre, nung una ko silang nakasama, tinatantiya ko rin, parang, just how I was sa ibang pelikula kong bago ang tandem, 'no? Sarah [Geronimo]-John Lloyd, and Toni-Sam [Milby] before, and... basta gano'n.

"So amazingly, meron."

Ayon kay Direk, gumana raw ang nasabing tandem dahil sa may magkatulad na personalidad ang dalawang aktor.

"Si Toni kasi, receptive na tao, yung, kung ano ang ibigay mo, tatanggapin niya. John Lloyd, on the other hand, pareho, ganun din. At kung ano ang ibinigay, na tinatanggap nung babae, parang nagko-compliment.

"Minsan kasi, 'di ba, okay naman sa akin but I cannot please everybody. So, minsan, ang mas importante sa akin, kung ano ang nakikita ng ibang tao. So when the teaser came out, sobra yung nginig ko kung meron, meron. And, happy kami na meron naman daw! So, happy naman kaming tatlo."

Isa sa mga nais iwasan ni Direk Cathy ay ang matulad ang characterization nina John Lloyd at Toni sa mga pelikulang nagawa na nila. Ilang beses na rin kasing nakatrabaho ng direktor ang dalawang young stars.

Limang pelikula na ni John Lloyd ang nai-direct ni Direk Kathy: Close To You (2006), One More Chance (2007), A Very Special Love (2008), You Changed My Life (2009), at Miss You Like Crazy (2010).

Tatlo naman para kay Toni: You Are the One (2006), You Got Me! (2007), at My Only Ü (2008).

"Dun talaga kami nagiging careful," paliwanag ng direktor. "Huwag maging pareho ang characterization, and definitely, 'wag mapareho ang kuwento, and 'wag mapareho ang treatment.

"Specially po ako na medyo nahahanay talaga sa rom-com, very conscious yung effort sa part namin na 'wag makita ang isang luma kong pelikula, o 'wag masabing, 'Ay, ganun uli? Wala na bang iba?' Sobra po ang effort namin na makapagbigay ng bago.

"And with that goal, andun I think lumalabas yung ano ang ipapakitang iba. For as long as kasi the actors are willing to explore, walang problema, so iibahin mo yung characterization, iibahin mo yung atake, yung tono ng pelikula, parang iba na rin."

Pakiramdam ni Direk Cathy, may bago na namang maiihain ang Star Cinema sa mga manonood.

"Naku, ang tagal namin ni-research 'yan. Ni-research namin talaga what could work, sobrang isip namin ng creative team, paano, paano maiiba ang boy-meets-girl na naman na kuwento. Hinanap namin, ano ba ang strength ni Toni, ano ba ang strength ni John Lloyd?

"Tapos, si John Lloyd naman talaga, meron kaming want, from John Lloyd himself, and Star Cinema, parang, 'Ano naman kaya ang maipapakitang bago ni John Lloyd?'"

Saad ng director, naisip nila na bigyan ng light role si John Lloyd, katulad ng mga role na madalas ginagampanan ng Hollywood comedian na si Adam Sandler.

"Rather than giving him a more dramatic role, or a more dramatic film, we thought of, 'Bakit hindi ka kaya subukang maging light? Subukang maging Adam Sandler?' So somehow, meron kami talagang want na pagaanin naman si Lloydie, especially lalabas 'to at the time of Imortal. So at least, may variety yung tao."

Tinanong naman ng PEP kung ano ang reaksyon ng direktor sa mga nagsasabing kinopya lamang sa Hollywood movie na 50 First Dates ang My Amnesia Girl.

Ang 50 First Dates (2004) ay tungkol sa isang babae na nagkaroon ng ibang klase ng amnesia. Starring dito sina Adam Sandler at Drew Barrymore, at nai-direct ni Peter Segal.

"Malayo" raw ang kuwento ng dalawang pelikula, ayon kay Direk Kathy.

"Malayo po 'to. If there's something similar to 50 First Dates, yun lang salitang amnesia. But other than that, hindi po. Pero, talagang peg namin yung tipo ni Adam Sandler na light lang. Kahit dramatic moment na, hindi talaga nagda-drama. Gusto talaga namin na light lang talaga."

"Actually, sabi ko nga, naku, baka isipan talaga nila, copycat 'to ng 50 First Dates. Yun lang pagka-amnesia. Pero, paglabas po ng full trailer, you will know that it's not," paliwanag ng direktor.

Nagsimula nang mag-shooting para sa My Amnesia Girl, ang pinakabagong pelikula ng Star Cinema, ang Kapamilya actress na si Toni Gonzaga. Makakaparehas niya rito ang multi-awarded actor na si John Lloyd Cruz, sa direksyon ni Cathy Garcia-Molina.

Kuwento ni Toni sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) at sa pili pang miyembro ng entertainment press, nararamdaman niyang suwerte na makatrabaho si John Lloyd. Nakausap namin si Toni sa shooting ng pelikula sa isang hotel sa Quezon City noong Huwebes, November 4.


Gaganapan ni Toni sa pelikula si Irene, isang babaeng magkaka-amnesia dahil marahil sa pag-ibig.

"Si Irene, lumaki siya nang walang mga magulang kaya very fragile siya, very vulnerable. Kaya pag may lalaking pumasok sa buhay niya, binibigay niyang lahat. Kaya, nung nasaktan siya, talagang masakit para sa kanya. Ayon," kuwento ng aktres.

Saad ni Toni, ngayon-ngayon lamang siya nakapaniwala na si John Lloyd nga ang kanyang kapareha.

"Naalala ko nung sinabi sa akin yung proyektong ito, hindi kasi ako naniwala pa. Hindi pa nag-sink-in, hanggang sa mag-shooting kami, makailang-days. Nung medyo tumatagal-tagal na yung shooting, sabi ko, 'Hay! Totoo na. Totoo na ang mga pangyayari.' So, saka ko lang ninamnam yung mga eksena, yung mga moments. Medyo nagiging at ease na ko."

Naiintindihan na rin daw ni Toni kung bakit itinuturing na magaling na aktor si John Lloyd.

"Ang sarap niyang katrabaho dahil he brings out the best in you. Kaya pala ang husay-husay ng mga pelikula niya, very effective siya, kasi hindi siya selfish na actor.

"Sine-share niya yung mga eksena, sine-share niya yung emotions niya, kaya madadala ka talaga pag nasa eksena ka. Nararamdaman ko talaga na ako si Irene na pag mahal niya ako, nararamdaman ko.

"Kahit ang husay-husay na niya, metikuloso pala talaga siya. At saka, ano, talagang sobra yung passion niya sa trabaho niya, sa craft niya. Talagang inaalam niya yung transition ng emotion ng character n'ya, yung mga pinanggalingan. And from there, natututo ako," sabi niya.

Hindi naman daw nape-pressure si Toni kung maghi-hit man ang pelikula o hindi. Kilala kasi si John Lloyd na box-office king.

"Siyempre inisip ko 'yan nung bago pa ako pinanganak, inisip ko na 'yan," biro ni Toni. "Siguro, kung 'yan lang ang magiging batayan ng isipin ko e, baka hindi ko tinanggap yung proyekto. Baka hindi ko na ginawa. Dahil siyempre, natatakot ako at malaki ang risk. But at the end of the day, siguro you leave everything to God.

"Para sa akin sa panahon ngayon, para mabigyan ka ng ganitong opportunity, siguro maging grateful na lang at maging thankful ako, instead of being pressured. Mas ma-i-enjoy ko yung pelikula."

ON MARIEL. Kamakailan lang ay nabalitang nagkaroon daw ng hindi pagkaka-intindihan sa pagitan nina Toni at ang co-host niya sa Pinoy Big Brother na si Mariel Rodriguez sa 'di malinaw na kadahalinan. Inusisa ng PEP si Toni ukol dito.

Una munang nagbiro si Toni. "Wala naman. Wala namang latest update. Kasi, nagka-amnesia na 'ata ako. Nakalimutan ko na din ang mga bagay-bagay. Masyado ko nang ninamnam 'tong mga pangyayari sa pelikula. Nagka-amnesia na rin ako sa part na 'yon."

Tila pinipili naman ni Toni ang mga salita sa sumunod niyang pahayag. "Matagal nang tapos yun, so I think okay na lahat. Okay na, tapos na. Alam ko naman darating yung araw na ano, maaayos din ang lahat. Actually sinasabi ng tao na hindi kami nagkausap, basta daw lumabas 'to. May mga pag-uusap, pero, hindi nalinaw."

Hiling rin ni Toni na maayos na ang gulo bago mag-Pasko.

"So, hopefully, yun ang Christmas wish ko na maayos na ang lahat kasi ano, mahirap naman na hindi ka okay. Feeling ko darating din yung time na okay na ang lahat," sambit niya.

I saw Babe, I Love You (Anne Curtis/Sam Milby) and Working Girls 2010 simultaneously today April 21, 2010 at Festival Mall Alabang.

Acting wise and story wise, ok ang BABE, I LOVE YOU. Kaso typical Filipino Film na feel good with alot of twists and turns.




Working Girls 2010 is nothing new as well. Mas maganda yung naunang Working Girls which I recently seen on Cinema One (Movie Channel). It presented what a typical Jose Javier Reyes film was supposed to be. Meaty lines, meaty characters, very up to date. Kaso ang nagdala mostly ng comic relief sa film eh si Ms. Eugene Domingo. Flat ang istorya, pero kwentong walang wenta, puro characters na hindi masyadong najustify. Pero OK na to kumpara sa mga walang kamatayang Filipino romance stories of the recent years



Of the 5 stars which is supposed to be an excellent Film, i would give BABE I LOVE YOU a 2.5 star, Working Girls 2010 is a 1.5 star.

Dingdong's character is a city boy who comes from an affluent family. His father's conviction, however, resulted in his loss of assets, status, and even his home.

Marian plays a provincial girl who suddenly found herself with more money than she could imagine. She inherits the bulk of her wealthy father's assets, including the foreclosed mansion of Dingdong's family.

To do honor to her father's legacy, Marian needed to gain some understanding of the assets she inherited. The only business experience she has is her stall in the marketplace. Dingdong is then tapped to train her in managing a business. The two struck a deal and what follows are a series of comedic situations wherein Dingdong tries to exorcise Marian's provincialism. Somewhere along the way though, they fell in love.

Happy si Anne Curtis sa pagsho-shoot niya ng first movie nila ni Sam Milby sa Star Cinema na Babe, I Love You sa direksyon ni Mae Cruz. Dahil dito kasi natuto na si Anne na mag-drive ng kotse na manual. “Drive ng ano, manual. Hindi kasi lagi kong hinihirit kay Sam, mayroon kasi kasing scene na car, ‘yung nagdri-drive ako with matching ano ang gagamitin, tapos umm, lagi siyang nagrereklamo siya na parang natatakot kasi ako ‘yung nagda-drive, e. Tapos hiniritan ko talaga siya, ‘Well, hindi mo kasi ako tinuruan mag-drive ng manual noon. Kaya ngayon dusa ka, eto pa ako natututo ngayon. Ayaw niya kasing ipa-drive ‘yung sobrang maganda na bago niyang kotse noon,” lahad ni Anne sa pictorial ng Babe, I Love You.

Sagot naman ni Sam, “Basta ako happy na happy ako na hindi ko siya tinuruan sa orange car ko kasi tiyak sirang-sira na siya kung tinuruan ko siya ngayon. Sa sobrang ano, as in naawa ako sa kotse na ‘yan na ginagamit namin sa movie. Naawa talaga ako. Sirang-sira na, ‘yung break, ‘yung clutch wala na,” natatawang kwento ni Sam. Sabay sabat naman ni Anne,“Hindi kasi, in fairness, ‘yung eksena talaga ano hataw,” na sinagot muli ni Sam ng, “Hataw, hindi sira. Hindi sisirain ‘yung kotse.” “Hindi naman, kasi nag-stunt ako sa movie. Ako ang nag-drive,” tanggol ni Anne sa sarili.

Nagsalita naman ulit si Sam, “Kasama namin sa kotse sina Kitkat at Nina (Jose), lahat kami, tapos siya ‘yung nagda-drive, nagre-reverse (siya), lahat kami ano, takot na takot. Hindi na ‘yun acting, totoo na. Lahat kami nagsisigawan.” “Ahhhh!” natatawa rin na reaksyon ni Anne. “Ganu’n talaga sila kasi natatakot sila. Pero ako fun talaga for me,” paglalarawan ni Anne.

Gusto rin daw turuan ni Sam na mag-motorcycle si Anne kaso medyo dangerous daw dito sa Pilipinas ang pagmomotor. “Dito sa Pilipinas masyadong mapanganib,” matatas na Tagalog na sabi ni Sam. Kaya tinukso siya ni Anne, “Mapanganib!” “Malalim na tagalong ‘yun ‘no,” pagmamalaki ni Sam.

Napunta na ang usapan sa ilang eksena sa pelikula. May love scene ba sila sa movie? “Siyempre love stoy naman ‘to. Pero hindi pa nakukunan,” sagot ni Anne. Excited ata si Anne sa love scene nila ni Sam? “Ano ba ‘yun?!” natatawang sagot muli ni Anne. “Siyempre, okay lang,” ang sabi ni Sam. Mukhang excited din si Sam dito. “Ano beh (ba) ‘yen (‘yan)? Pa-girl bigla. Hahaha. Hindi, eh, siyempre it helps na comfortable kami kasi ilang love scene na ang nagawa naming noon. So, walang problema.”

Tinanong tuloy namin ang director ng movie na si Direk Mae kung may love scene pa ang dalawa since parehong hindi sila sigurado kung meron o wala. “Tingnan na lang natin,” ang misteryosong sagot ni Direk Mae. “Hmmm… the thing kasi doon sa love scene, sa Maging Sino Ka Man ginawa na kasi nila lahat ‘yun. I mean, sa hagdan, sa campsite. That’s why parang kami inaano pa namin ‘yung love scene, kung itutuloy kasi parang they’ve done it all, e. In MSKM, you know, sila ‘yung hot couple doon, e. For two years na umere ‘yun, ilang beses… nagka-cancer, nag-lovemaking pa rin. So, parang lahat na, mula umpisa hanggang mamamatay na lang may love scene pa rin sila doon,” pahayag ni Direk Mae. Wala na ba silang maisip na ibang klase naman na love scene for Sam and Anne? “Hindi naman sa walang maisip na bagong konspeto for the love scene but for the viewers parang ang importante kasi ‘yung to see them together again on screen, ‘yung love, ‘yung chemistry. It’s not so much the love scene,e, kasi ang importante rito ‘yung relationship.”

On the other hand, naitanong din namin kay Anne kung totoo ba na tutol siya na makatrabaho ni Sam si Maja Salvador ? “Huh? Sino ang maysabi na ayaw ko? Gusto ko nga, e. Kakasabi ko lang. Oo, hindi totoo ‘yun. Gusto ko siyang makatrabaho (ni Sam).”

Samantala, kadarating lang ni Sam from Japan kung saan nabalitang nag-date raw sila doon ng foreign singer na si Marie Digby. “Ay, hindi totoo. Hindi ko alam saan galing ‘yan. Hindi, ah, siguro, nakakatwa ‘yun, e. I think kasi sa Twitter. Kasi ako I’m a fan, siguro kasi I’m a big fan and she’s following me sa twitter, ‘yun lang. Kasi nalaman ng fans (ko) na nasa Japan ako and they know fan niya (Marie) ako. Hindi, walang ganyan, e. Never kaming nagkita,” tapos ni Sam.

After John Lloyd and Bea's blockbuster hit One More Chance (another 5 ✮ in my book for local films) comes this post-Valentine offering Miss You Like Crazy (MYLC). The film talks about love and its perfect timing. Is there really such a thing as right time when it comes to falling in love? -- trailer tag line.

I loved the movie because of two things. First, the main characters are realistic and "within reach". Unlike other Pinoy flicks showing the bidas as near-perfect, MYLC's Allan (JLC) and Mia (Bea) are so flawed. They have their own issues and they made mistakes which most of us can truly relate. Tao lang po. Second, I liked how the story played with the elements of time making the viewers wonder how long it has been or which part this particular scene belongs to.

Story-wise, ok lang. Acting is two-thumbs up! JLC and Bea's amazing chemistry is still there. The supporting cast also delivered well. Ketchup Eusebio playing the gay friend of Bea is funny. The film's highlight location, Malaysia, is close to my heart so I love the shots taken there. I will rate this movie 4/5 because of the two points I mentioned above and because of the Korean-feel cinematography which I find refreshing.


I'm such a John Lloyd - Bea Fan... I duno! they just have the chemistry or maybe because i love their movie ONE MORE CHANCE so much that i've seen it a hundred times already. heheheh... everybody can relate to that movie... lines are so exactly correct and precise! and believe me i have lots of guy friends seen and love the movie too...

And now there's a new movie of them both together again... Miss you like Crazy... seems like another box office hit and a very nice setting... Petronas Twin Towers! been there huh! so i would never really miss this movie! nah... nah... nah...

The Verdict? Indeed! A very romantic movie and a tear jearker as well... i cried... yes! i cried... cathchy lines is still there like... "TIME IS MEANINGLESS WHEN YOU'RE IN LOVE!" and 'TODAY IS THE DAY. BELIEVE!" and much more...

I do like the movie... I'd learned something and realized that "If you're really meant for each other...Whatever...Wherever... Whenever... You two will be together forever..."

"IF SEEINGS BELIEVING IT'S WORTH THE WAIT... SO HOLD ME AND TELL ME IT'S NOT TOO LATE... WE'RE SO GOOD TOGETHER... WE'RE STARTING FOREVER NOW..."


I just got home around 12:30AM. I usually watch John Lloyd movies on the first day of showing, but for some reasons, I didn't this time. Luckily, I had a very nice friend who agreed to accompany me to watch it for last full show.

Both characters portrayed their roles as best as they could. Mia, and Allan, met by chance in an unexpected way, place and time. That's when things started to go in circles. Twists and turns, they had to find their way to make it a happily ever after.

It may not be as epic as their last movie, One More Chance, but somehow, it did leave a mark to me. It had flaws yes, but the movie is still worth watching, and worth the price at Cinema 7. The movie tried to show a different John Lloyd and Bea, more mature roles, and more diversity in acting. I salute not only the main characters, but everyone who's part of the movie. They've done a job good enough to pull the movie through. There are lines really worth remembering, and scenes which I think would be a classic. The Petronas Towers story of Mia at Kopiroti, the scene with lolo Yulie.


One thing I didn't miss: the new John Lloyd-Bea flick.

I cried. Which is not surprising, because I cry easily over movies. I cried over that third Tanging Ina movie and Bruce Almighty, demmit.

But apparently this movie was able to make even my friend Agie cry, which is in a feat itself, because she has a cold, cold heart. (I must qualify: only when it comes to movies, because she'll kill me if she reads that I have told the world she's basically heartless.)

Before the movie, Elaine and I had planned to buy Kleenex in anticipation of what we assumed would be the solution to El Nino, but stores were closed. I had to make do with my hankie. I tried being sneaky about the whole crying thing, like, pretending that I wasn't teary-eyed, but apparently, gravity is my enemy.

And, I saw a male senior associate from my old law firm, seemingly alone, waiting in line to watch the movie. Awesome, and totally disturbing.

Is there really such a thing as right time when it comes to falling in love? This is what Star Cinema’s latest offering Miss You Like Crazy is all about. It asks about life’s mysteries that would only be answered if you’ve given it a try. It dares you to be brave enough to fight for your love and wait until destiny itself conspires to make things right no matter how long it takes. It teaches you that before you commit to a person, it’s because he/she is the one your heart desires and not because you’re just settling to what’s available and convenient. But ultimately, it tells you that a happy ending is possible only if two people in love work hard to stay that way. Otherwise, both parties may be subjected to a lifetime of sorrow and regret.

Without giving away the specific plot of the story, you’d find that there lies the beauty of watching Miss You Like Crazy because it keeps you guessing until the end of the film. John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo have given justice to the well-written script by conveying their character’s inner conflict by knowing when to hold back or give in to their emotions. But the biggest surprise is Bea who stands out with her role as Mia Samonte whose quirks (like writing out her dilemmas on marbles), attitude, and beliefs are mostly the take-off points of the movie’s themes. But this doesn’t make John Lloyd less of an actor for it was his character Alan Alvarez’s subtle charm and intensity which made the whole dramatic performance really effective.

John Lloyd and Bea certainly haven’t lost their on screen chemistry as they will make your heart race with unexpected kilig moments like the fact that they often meet by pure chance whether in Manila or Malaysia. There’s this one scene where they got separated while shopping in Divisoria and John Lloyd was at a loss in the midst of the throng of people. But when they finally saw each other Bea quips, “Bakit ka ba nagpa-panic? Kahit nga hindi mo ako hinahanap nagkikita pa rin tayo!” While in Malaysia, John Lloyd ends up bumping into Bea even when she’s trying to avoid him. “I can’t take away all the pain that I’ve caused you. But if you will just let me, I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you,” says John Lloyd to Bea when he’s asking her to come back to him.

True to Direk Cathy Garcia-Molina’s word, all love stories are the same but it is the manner that Mia and Alan’s love story was told which made all the difference. Don’t forget your hanky when you watch this movie for you will find yourselves crying and hurting with the characters even when you don’t want to.

Miss You Like Crazy is now showing in theaters nationwide.

The trailer of Star Cinema’s post-Valentine offering–Miss You Like Crazy–starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo premiered in cinemas on the opening day of “Paano Na Kaya.”


“Miss You Like Crazy” reunites the box-office tandem of John Lloyd Cruz, Bea Alonzo and Director Cathy Garcia-Molina. Their first film “One More Chance” was the biggest hit in 2007 giving John Lloyd his first box office king title and Bea her first box office queen title.

Also starring in the movie are Maricar Reyes and Megan Young. It will open in theaters on February 24, 2010.

Aga Muhlach and Regine Velasquez topbill the romantic comedy Of All the Things, which was shot partly in Camarines Sur. The film tells the love story of an intellectual man who falls in love with an overly ambitious and overbearing woman. This marks Regine and Aga's third team-up after being paired together in the movies Dahil May Isang Ikaw (1999) and Pangako... Ikaw Lang (2001), both produced by Viva Films.

After A Walk to Remember and The Notebook, another book by Nicholas Sparks will hit the silverscreen.

Dear John comes to the screen under the direction of Lasse Hallstrom, the Swedish director and three-time Oscar nominee known for such films as My Life as a Dog (1985), What’s Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), The Cider House Rules (1999), and Chocolat (2000).

The film follows the story of a Special Forces soldier, John Tyree (Channing Tatum), who uses a leave period to visit his father (Richard Jenkins) down in South Carolina. He falls for a conservative college student while he’s in his father’s home. John must go back to the army and he and Savannah (the student) communicate through letters, until fate takes a turn.

Dear John is coming to theaters on the Valentines month of February 2010.

Tells the story of John Tyree, a young soldier home on leave, and Savannah Curtis, the idealistic college student he falls in love with during her spring vacation. Over the next seven tumultuous years, the couple is separated by Johns increasingly dangerous deployments. While meeting only sporadically, they stay in touch by sending a continuous stream of love letters overseas--correspondence that eventually triggers fateful consequences.

Ex-lovers Sam Milby and Anne Curtis will star in the upcoming romantic movie from Star Cinema with the working title “Maybe It’s You.”

The Anne Curtis – Sam Milby loveteam started in the teleserye Maging Sino Ka Man and later in Maging Sino Ka Man Book II and continued in the fantaserye Dyosa. The on-screen tandem of Anne and Sam turned real when they became lovers off-screen.

Their two-year romance (almost 3 years) has ended but their fans are clamoring that they make a movie together. Sam Milby is happy to announce that Star Cinema gave them a movie project that will begin shooting in December.

“The movie with Anne, it’s like giving back to our fans kasi marami kaming supporters lalo na mga TFC subscribers. We really wanted to offer a project like this na sana talaga mapasaya sila,” he said.

The film has a working title “Maybe It’s You” and it’s more of a romantic drama.

In a report by Showbiz News Ngayon Wednesday night, the movie almost didn’t push through because Sam and Anne are not talking to each other lately (hindi nagpapansinan). But then they knew that they have to work together for their fans.

Who knows, maybe this movie will bring back the closeness between Anne and Sam and perhaps mend their relationship. Maybe this time it will work, right?

500 Days of Summer is an upcoming romantic comedy film about a man that falls hopelessly in love with a woman who doesn’t believe in love.

The movie is topbilled by Joseph Gordon-Levitt (10 Things I Hate About You, G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra) and Zooey Deschanel (Weeds, The Happening).

It was written by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber, directed by Marc Webb and produced by Mark Waters.

Logline: Tom, a would-be architect who works as a writer of pithy romantic sayings for others yet can’t seem to communicate the overpowering depth of his own feelings to the only woman who matters to him: the elusive Summer (Deschanel).

Also starring in the film are Chloë Moretz, Geoffrey Arend, Matthew Gray Gubler, Clark Gregg and Minka Kelly as Autumn.

“500 Days of Summer” opens October 21 in theaters from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.
