Sometime during the first week of September ang start ng shooting. Someone close to Vi disclosed na baka first week ng January ang release nito.
Obviously, ito ang dahilan why nira-rush din daw ang taping ni Kim for My Binondo Girl. Tuloy, ang mga tao behind the promo department ng ABS-CBN are having a hard time scheduling Kim for a presscon.
My Binondo Girl has Kim in the title role. Playing her leading men are Jolo Revilla, Xian Lim and Matteo Guidicelli.

Kim Chiu’s next movie assignment, should it push through, is not something to sneer at: Gerald Anderson’s screen partner might soon appear in a Jackie Chan movie.
Contradicting earlier reports that Kim had passed up on the opportunity to work with Jackie in a Hollywood movie, Thess Gubi of Star Magic, confirmed the existence of an offer for the svelte young actress to star opposite the karate superstar.
“’Di po tinanggihan. Go si Kim pero ‘yung project hindi pa sure,” Thess said in a text message to Bulletin Entertainment.
This was in reaction to a report posted by push_mina.com, dated Nov. 9, titled “Kim Chiu, pinalampas ang offer ni Jackie Chan na makasama sa isang Hollywood movie!”
Kim, explained Thess, was personally chosen by the karate action superstar when he saw her photo.
“I think pinili siya ni Jackie Chan nu’ng nakita pic niya,” said Thess.
Kim’s last movie was with her favorite leading man Gerald Anderson, “Till My Heartaches End.” It is said to be their last as a pair.

Under the direction of Joey Reyes, magsasama muli ang dalawang PBB housemates na sina Kim Chiu at Gerald Anderson sa isang Star Cinema movie na, "'Till My Heart Aches End." Ipapalabas ito sa October 27.
"A series of events led to why this project had to be mounted. Originally, Laurenti Dyogi had to direct this project but they had to fast-track it.
"Remember that Kim and Gerald already had a movie [Paano Na Kaya] this year. Kaya lang when the Robin-Toni movie was shelved, they had an empty playdate. They needed to fill that up.
"I had a lot of realizations. It is extremely difficult to shoot Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson in the middle of Recto!
"My second realization is shooting in the underpass in Manila is like being kept in an enormous armpit. You could just imagine the smell and the heat with the people surrounding us!" natatawa niyang sabi tungkol sa kalye sa Manila kung saan maraming estudyante at iba pang tao ang dumadaan araw-araw.
